What’s new in 1.1

Pay goals. The Payroll Records page is now a dashboard. Set a goal in dollars or hours for a week or a whole pay period, including upcoming ones, and watch the progress circle fill. Pay you’ve already earned and shifts you have scheduled both count.
Find shifts for your goal. Press Find shifts and Bettersubbook looks through the open shifts for the fewest that get you there, skipping any that clash with your schedule. You still send each request yourself.
About this shift. Open the ⋯ menu on a shift to see every date and the hours, and autofill or edit a single date without touching the rest of a repeating shift.
Search your shifts from the Shifts tab.
New scenes: Forest and Aurora, alongside Sky, Space and Water.
Your own themes. Create, edit, rename and reorder custom themes.
Add a Department. Scan a department’s board to add its roles and locations.
Calendar import. Import any calendar file, and linked calendars now group what they find by series.
A new welcome tour that shows the real popup with short tooltips. It runs on first install only, never on updates, and can be replayed from Settings → Welcome tour.
Refreshed privacy policy, FAQ and guide, plus an interactive 1.1 preview and version history on the website.

Fixes and polish

Payroll scanning no longer shows a “View on original page” button, and a scan that fails now cleans up after itself instead of leaving the page in a broken state.
Friendlier wording in the payroll setup box.
Smoother animations and layout fixes throughout the popup.

Google Calendar linking is here! Link your Google account in Settings and Bettersubbook finds your shifts for you. It’s read-only: it never creates, edits or deletes anything on your calendar. You can still link Outlook / Microsoft 365, or import a file or calendar link with no sign-in.
