by Firefox user 15506245, 5 years agoThere are no versions listed in the options. When I hover over the verse I just get the message "try again later"

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13258833, a year agoBible Perviewer is an excellent add-on that offers a wide selection of Bible version to choose from. Have not figured out how to make a downloaded version the default though – if that is even possible. Also, would like to see the verses open up is a separate window instead of having to go back a page in order to continue reading, but that’s just my opinion. Overall, I will continue to use Bible Previewer because I love reading referenced scripture verses in articles and devotionals which this add-on does very well. I will, and would, recommend Bible Previewer to anyone that loves Scripture.
I should have said "New Tab" not "Separate window".Developer response
posted a year agoThank you for the review and the kind words! Can you explain more of what you mean by opening in a separate window? The verse should have a tooltip that appears directly on your page when you hover it, and you can click on the link to open it in a new window if you prefer - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15742510, 2 years agoNice to meet you, I am a Korean Christian.I really want to use this add-on, but there is no Korean tab. Please in God, add Korean Bible version too
- Rated 3 out of 5by PeaceByJesus.net, 2 years agoA real blessing to be able to see Bible refs (I use the KJV) via pop up on mouse hover. However, for me, I find it no longer provides pop up viewing in either Vivaldi or Firefox, though most references are hot linked to click on (which should be in a new tab).
It also fails to show references from E-sword when listed as Exo_38:26, nor other verses in the same book such as when referenced like Lk. 10:12-13; 12:47,48.
But it is one of a kind, and helpful, may God bless, thank Him. - Rated 5 out of 5by Hez, 5 years agoThank you, brother. This is perfect. Makes life that much easier than having to highlight, right click and search for the verse.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Mike Preston, 6 years agoA fair start to a good app. I particularly like the window styles. Not many decent Bible apps that allow multiple translations - I do hope you add more, if possible. Thanks!
-- Edit --
I'd like to see MKJV, ESV or NLT. I couldn't reply to your reply on my original review, so I've done it here.Developer response
posted 6 years agoThanks for the review! Besides more translations (which is a bit tedious due to copyright), how else would you like to see it improved? Any particular translation you'd like to be able to select? - Rated 3 out of 5by Knut AK, 6 years agoIt seems to "crash" on a reference such as "Genesis 1:1". The whole paragraph containing this disappears.
I would like the ability to choose which Bible translation to use.Developer response
posted 6 years agoThanks for your review! I have added the ability to select a bible translation, let me know what you think! Also, can you give me a link to a page where you see the "crashing" behavior exhibited?
