Overview
BimboT Speckle Connector ("the Extension") is a browser extension that adds AI-powered analysis capabilities to the Speckle 3D model viewer. This policy describes what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Data We Access
The Extension reads BIM model element properties (such as category names, dimensions, material types, and other metadata) from the Speckle Viewer on pages you visit at *.speckle.systems. This data is accessed only when you actively use the Extension.

How Data Is Used
Model element data is sent to our backend server for processing.
Our server forwards relevant portions of that data to the Google Gemini API to generate AI-powered analysis and responses to your queries.
Data is used solely to provide the Extension's core functionality — filtering, querying, and analyzing BIM model elements.
Third-Party Services
The Extension relies on the following third-party service:

Google Gemini API — used to process natural-language queries about your model data. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google API Terms of Service.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect personal information (names, emails, accounts).
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
We do not access your Speckle account credentials or authentication tokens.
We do not store model data beyond the duration of your active session.
Data Sharing and Sales
We do not sell, trade, or transfer user data to third parties for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the Extension's core functionality.

Data Retention
Model data is held in server memory only for the duration of your active session and is not persisted to permanent storage.
