by DarkHelmet, 8 years agoI am a LastPass refugee. After incidents of LastPass failing to save passwords I went looking for an alternative. I found BitWarden and am thrilled so far. Bitwarden is:
* Efficient to use - minimal clicks, fast response etc.
* Works *correctly* - it saves the passwords *before* you create an account.
* Is portable - works on all my platforms.
I wish I had found BitWarden sooner.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Jisk, 21 days agoI used this for a long while and still have the app, but the extension's disabled. It reliably fails to unlock the vault, it just loops back to the unlock prompt without even a password field. But at least it's not actively harmful.

- Rated 3 out of 5by hnxeast, 23 days agoFor some time now, when entering the PIN in Bitwarden, the input is cleared before it can be confirmed. Only after entering the PIN a second time does it remain stable and allow confirmation. This issue occurs in both Firefox and Chromium browsers; I have not tested others. Bug or a security problem? It leaves me with an uneasy feeling

- Rated 3 out of 5by awawawaawawa, 24 days agoworks reasonably well but has a lot of annoying bugs that just seem to be getting worse over time. recently my biggest annoyance right now is that when I enter my PIN it sometimes doesn't register all key presses or sometimes just straight up deletes some of them for some reason.
- Rated 5 out of 5by PrettyKoolGuy, 25 days agoLove Bitwarden. Please add Customizable vault item templates and Additional Pre-defined item types (like Wifi passwords, SSH, database connections, etc.) Proton Pass implements them elegantly, and I would love to see these features come to Bitwarden.
