by Sern, 7 years agoSo far this has been an absolute joy to use since switching from LastPass. Many of the features may be what you expect, but they work. I've even found usefulness from the desktop app. I'm still in the transition phase, sure, but I felt that from what I've seen so far, Bitwarden and their creators deserved a big f**king 5 star thumbs up from me. Thank you for making the combined and often at odds security/convenience aspects of 'online everything' accessible and not completely screwed up. And thank you for being OPEN SOURCE. Mother F**cking heroes.

- Latest version broke extension again.
Biometric unlock stopped working properly.
So I had chosen Biometric Unlock but extension always ask for master password. I have to now manually select Unlock with Biometric this is not the way it worked before. The next problem is when I tell it to manually unlock with Biometric the Windows Hello Biometric Window is now hidden behind Firefox and I have to go click it on the toolbar. This makes Biometric unlock useless and I have had to resort to PIN unlock. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18309660, a day agoFluide et performant et surtout gratuit et sécurisé

- Rated 5 out of 5by frostbyte, 7 days agoAfter LastPass went corporate and severely limited their free account options, I searched for months for a new service. Password management services are, admittedly, fairly cheap in general, and it wasn't anything against LastPass that made me leave. I simply couldn't afford anything but a free account at the time.
After trying many alternatives I stumbled upon Bitwarden, and steeled myself for yet another disappointment, only to find a refreshing, comprehensive and secure service I could rely on, even for free until I could afford a higher account level.
I highly recommend Bitwarden—the desktop client and/or the browser integration are outstanding, as is the mobile app (and companion authenticator app). Thank you, Bitwarden! - Rated 5 out of 5by Eo, 8 days ago
