by Firefox user 14751603, 7 years agoI have tired many different password managers over the years. I finally settled on Bitwarden due to their open source code, and a successfully completed security audit. Bitwarden as a PM is a much more polished version of Keepass, and is considerably more user friendly than it as well.
Regarding the Firefox browser add-on, this add on compliments the PM software perfectly. I run it on my personal Macbook Pro, my work Lenovo, my personal Linux Mint computer, and my iPhone 7. It works seamlessly across all platforms and never once has given me an issues.
If you are looking for a solid (less expensive) password Manager, you cannot go wrong with Bitwarden. It isn't as flashy as Dashlane, 1Password, or LastPass, but it is proven secure and is a great addition to any personal security suite that you employ.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ender, 18 days ago

It asks to save passwords that are already saved leaving you with multiple instances of the same password, but if you change the password, it doesn't change all of them. It's just a piece of shit.

- Rated 2 out of 5by FF user 17083219, a month agorecent updates have broken the extension on firefox, console on websites shows 'Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.' (void chrome.runtime.sendMessage({ command: "triggerAutofillScriptInjection" });)
additionally, it always asks me to "update" my passwords after signing into any website (multiple times), even though they are up-to-date.
Clearly the firefox extension is an afterthought and bugs aren't adressed, since this has been an ongoing issue, in addition to negatively affecting browser performance during typing in input fields, likely caused by the bugs mentioned. - Rated 5 out of 5by Filoni, a month ago
