- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13590371, an hour agoReally? You moved away from a clean functional look to a shaky and distracting UI. UX also is not a step forward even so I think I know what you wanted to achieve. For me the new design looks cheap and is no improvement.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Kevin, 2 hours agoLove Bitwarden. HATE the UI update. It's too cluttered, too slow, and too big.
Before, clicking the icon would just show me the logins for the current site. Now it loads all 500+ items... I don't know what you guys were thinking when you designed this. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18769491, 8 hours agoSame as all the recent comment. The new design greatly reduce the usability. Please revert.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17760966, 18 hours agoToo many stupid changes made. Typing strings should prioritize entries that start with inputed string!!! For example, on what planet would tying "he" produce "chess.com" as the first result other than an idiotic one??? So now you've screwed my entire system based on a standard way of doing things. Thanks a lot! And why have you made it stupidly more difficult to open a site in browser. THE LINK BUTTON SHOULD BE PROMINENT EVERYWHERE, NOT ONLY FROM THE STARTING MENU. That is, if I click on an entry, I shouldn't have to stupidly search for the OPEN LINK button through a bunch a text. Do you morons actually even use this thing??????? Edit...SMFH... now you have hidden the delete button in one hard to find stupid spot. Why wouldn't it be in the logical place next to the edit button, or in the context menu. FU! I am done with this disorganized cluster-f****
- Rated 1 out of 5by jo.phina, a day agoReally great password manager! But the new UI is hoooorribly unintuitiv, really slow and buggy! Takes ages to load and when generating a new password, it does not react to changes in length anymore. Please go back, it was so great!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Brealu, a day agoHave tried out so many password managers. Bitwarden has the easiest functionality and can be used on so many platforms without a limit to the amount of stored passwords.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18571432, a day agoredesign is full of UX flaws
revert the extension and fix all of the complaints.
if you need details...
- way too much white space, with huge fonts everywhere. literally has the biggest font sizes on my screen out of anything
- slow, maybe caused by showing entire vault on the first tab. not to mention security implications
- more difficult out of the box to use with the tiny "fill" button - Rated 5 out of 5by Manos Heal, a day ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by DS, a day agoI had been a happy Bitwarden user (paid) for several years after migrating from 1Password, and I routinely recommended it to others. Unfortunately, Bitwarden's December 2024 UI replacement is an utter tire fire. Everything is relentlessly clickier. Rare tasks (such as editing credentials) are UI-privileged over common tasks (such as entering credentials into sites).
This rating is a warning, Bitwarden: usability is not optional, and "pretty" is not a substitute for it. I'm about to cancel my membership and check out Buttercup and KeePass. I expect my recommendations to shift accordingly. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18045432, a day agoThe extension has problems with connecting on login attempts to the desktop app for confirmation of biometric verification. I regularly have to resort to manual password entering....
It's becoming worse with the latest updates...

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17426555, a day agoBeen using bitwarden for years, but the last update has left me questioning whether I will renew next year. The new UI is absolutely terrible. If you insist on using this new layout, please include an option for those of us who want it to restore the functional UI
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17138757, a day agoNew update makes UI/UX really bad. Form filling stopped working altogether. Please bring back form filling and remove clutter and too many options from UI

- Rated 4 out of 5by John Mais, a day agoMy favorite app and extension. But please, restore the previous UI — it was soo much better and intuitive.
Otherwise, it's a great password manager, thank you! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18767687, a day agoBad UI and UX after new update. New design wastes too much space, it takes more clicks to achieve the same objectives, muscle memory from years of use is completely destroyed. I feel the design enforces a single type of user's preferences and disregards the rest as can be seen by the hugely negative feedback on here and reddit.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Mraedis, a day agoWould be 4 or 5 stars but the recent UI changes made it slower to use (more clicks) which for a tool you use a lot makes zero sense.
- Rated 1 out of 5by unmog, 2 days agoYou broke it. Never NEVER do form over function for critical systems like password management. There is not even any improvements I have noticed just different. At a minimum change the fill to not be a tiny stupid button but the whole login card and make edit be the little button if anything.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18767257, 2 days agoDecent on desktop, basically broken on android. I wanted to try out a more secure way of storing my passwords, but Bitwarden is inconvenient to use.
