by Jeffo, 9 months agoVery good password manager. I used it for years already, in all my platforms: HTPC, Android, Windows PC. Very satisfied because it's good and it's FREE.

I sent a support email pointing some very basic questionable design decisions and got a reply back effectively telling me I'm a piece of shit and they already checked with their biggest sycophants that it was good design. Making the button that is pressed 90%+ of the time 20px wide was an extremely terrible idea.

Until now it was very convenient to have it always open on the screen as a sidebar. As the new look now is much broader at the sidebar this is not possible anymore. That's a pity, but still Bitwarden will stay our favorite among the password managers.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Bart, 3 hours agoFill button is a disaster, NEVER change muscle memory behavior! Maybe change the Fill button to Edit button. This will make the edit fuctionality quickly available. But the main goal for a password manager is filling user/password combination. So default behavior should be kept as it was before !
With this Fill disaster change reverted, 5 stars rating will also be restored - Rated 1 out of 5by Jonathan, 11 hours agoThe new UI update was an insane step back for Bitwarden. The extension would have been 5 stars before this update, but now there are some glaring shortcomings and some serious pain points for the user experience. These oversights truly make me question the competence of the team behind this extension. "If it ain't broke..."

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18758772, 18 hours agoWas 5 stars before UI update in December of 2024. The new one makes accessing identity and credit card fills much harder. There were no issues with the old UI. Please revert back to it.

- Rated 3 out of 5by DS, a day agoNew version lost features I used. No longer has solarized theme and favorites are sorted by use and not able to change sort. Password management is still 5 stars but new version's user experience is losing 2 stars. This maybe not be an issue for all but found it to be an issue for me.

- Rated 1 out of 5by yjsp, 2 days agoIt was perfect until the UI update circa Dec 2024 that completely destroyed the ease of use. I can't get to my credit cards / identities on first click. They are now hidden under a drop down menu. Also, the "fill" button becomes so small it becomes a precision job. Please, don't "fix" what's not broken.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Samuel Araújo, 2 days agoWas decent before last update, it becomes less intuitive, more complicated do autofill, sometimes i have to go back to the password list to have a fill form button, and some even need to click the tree dots (options) to look for the fill option, definetly a very bad update in therms of usability, this is suposed to autofill our passwords, and thats the reason we install this, somehow they seem o left aside the very essence of this add-on

- Rated 1 out of 5by Andreas, 2 days agoFor personal use this is okay, not as good as lastpass, but okay. For enterprise usage, hardly usable. Enter master password, then enter a code that arrives by mail, but when window lose focus it disapears.
It's possible to work around, but the neglection by the developers make me fear for the security of the entire product. - Rated 1 out of 5by Pedro, 2 days agoWhat is this new UI? It is such a mess to get things done, nothing is intuitive, it feels half baked.... Are you trying to copy someone else? Did we really needed all those rounded borders?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Josh, 2 days agoI was a happy paying customer, even though I used the opensource version. Why the hell did you break the UI after many years of it being one way, for the sake of change? Trying to find a release I can rollback to.

- Rated 1 out of 5by noxypaws, 3 days agoLatest update has made the UI worse in every conceivable way. More clicking required, less information displayed, slower, and just destroys whatever muscle memory you may have had prior to this update.
