- Rated 1 out of 5by Ren, 3 months agoNew UI is bad, a lot of text is significantly less readable due to everything being the same color. But the UX is even worse, that fill button was a horrendous idea and never should have made it into the release whatsoever.
It can be fixed, but the question is will it? Make the text either black or white, get rid of the fill button, make the dedicated copy username/password buttons default, and then it is significantly better.Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Rated 1 out of 5by 48, 3 months agoThe new "All Items" behavior on the Vault page is really annoying and makes the UI harder to use. This is especially irritating because the previous UI would only show relevant logins for the webpage you were on. I relied on this functionality to easily scroll through logins for websites with many vault items. Please either allow an option to re-enable the 5th tab or permanently collapse the All Items section.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13523419, 3 months agoGreat product plagued by another unneeded, useless, and counterproductive update. Why do dev teams do this? Are you just trying to justify your salaries? I actually like the new look, but what is the purpose of changing the behavior of user interactions? Before, if I clicked on an item I had searched in the extension, it would fill it on the onscreen form. Now, it opens the details. ??? Why is this expected or useful behavior ???

- Rated 1 out of 5by Markus753, 3 months agoNot only the new update introduced a lot of bugs but after asking for assistance from the Bitwarden team (as a paying customer), they just ignored me and deleted my questions on their subreddit because "they already solved it" even though I still do not have access to all my passwords. Be warned about this company
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17332969, 3 months agoThe new version is awful. It cannot even generate a password. When I change the options, new passwords are not generated according to the new settings.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16018047, 3 months agoAwful update. Ended up deleting and resorting to a previous version. Most recent update takes more clicks to autofill. Previously when I just needed the password it was one click. Now I have to hunt to find where to copy password. Where did the stored credit card and other data go? Just horrible. Please fix!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tommy2Times, 3 months agoVault tab is immediately horrible to look at and use when compared to the perfect simplicity of the old design. Such an unfortunate change.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18752077, 3 months agoRidiculous bad UI update. Reversed to prev version 2024.11.2

- Rated 3 out of 5by Tomek , 3 months agoWas great till last update. Look and feel is just uncomfortable now. Especially display all items in main tab. This is some kind of misunderstanding. I want ONLY the login and password for the current site there and not all of them! Please hide it. Did anyone complain about the previous design? no! and now everyone is complaining about the new design. Don't fix something that isn't broken! "fill" button? really?
- Rated 2 out of 5by Pheurum, 3 months agoHow is it possible that someone thought the new design was a good idea? Completely ridiculous redesign! There was no need at all

- Rated 3 out of 5by vinifurt, 3 months agoI love this addon and the service provided but the new UI is pretty bad. Now it takes a couple more buttons just to do the same thing.

Too many clicks to achieve what was already fine.

Before all common tasks were to 1-2 clicks away, now are 3-6 clicks away. Is it needed to break the usability?

Update : Kudos to Bitwarden for listening to the users and making some of the UI changes reversible. I *still* feel like the extension (and the app) are more visually cluttered and less performant, but it's back to "good enough" at least. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17242476, 3 months agoLoved this extension... until 2024.12.3
We don't want change, unless it makes things faster, smoother, safer, better. Adding extra steps (WTF... "fill" button?!) just slows down the process. Loved the product (mostly) before, but this is a huge mistake. UI changes that break UX need to at least have a toggle. Let's sort it out, folks. Then you get your stars back.Developer response
