The one (pretty major imo) feature this is missing, is the ability to disable/enable this for specific sites. Not super often, but occasionally, this extension will break a site. It would be incredibly convenient to have the ability to disable the extension for certain sites, like most other privacy extensions have.

However, maybe it's time to change it to Windows 10? It's now the most widely used OS in the world, by far. 57% vs 25.5% in January, for example.

Only one I've found that can actually change the Javascript navigator properties to match the HTTP user agent.
However, Windows 7 users now represent the minority of web users. The extension desperately needs changing to blend in as Windows 10.
EDIT: I'm now using a different extension called User-Agent Switcher by Alexander Schlarb as this also supports setting the JS navigator properties but allows custom strings, most importantly having a default Windows 10 & latest firefox option. - Rated 5 out of 5by Prometheus, 6 years agoGreat addon thats always just worked and never conflicted with other addons.
but its time to think about updating it to Win10 vs Win7. Win7 now only makes up 19% vs 49% for Win10.

posted 6 years agow3schools.com reports numbers based on its log files (i'd say the visitors of this site represent a specialized subsegment of total Internet community, from which it's hard to make a generalization about an average Internet user).
I tend to think that numbers reported by netmarketshare.com (which show that in 2018 Windows 7 has still been the most widely used OS) are more reliable:

But there is a problem: when there is a request for a favicon.ico image the browser gives out the actual user agent! instead of the one you would expect. Any idea why this happens? Thanks.

posted 6 years agoI haven't been able to reproduce the issue you mentioned about favicon.ico. For example, i just visited a site and checked request headers sent, & everything seems functioning OK:
