BlockWave combines multiple protection layers to reduce advertising requests, tracking infrastructure, pop-ups, nuisance elements, and leftover advertising containers. Protection can be adjusted by layer or disabled for individual websites when needed.
Features include:
Ad and advertising-network blocking
Tracker and privacy protection
Pop-up and pop-under protection
Cosmetic cleanup for leftover ad spaces
Annoyance filtering
Expanded network protection
Additional benchmark and test coverage
Per-site protection controls
Individual protection-layer controls
Session protection statistics

Local-first configuration
No account required
BlockWave is designed so individual protection layers can be controlled without disabling the rest of the extension. Trusted websites can be excluded when necessary.
