💬 CLEAN UP YOUR COMMENTS
• Hide comments containing photos, GIFs or stickers.
• Filter specific words or use regular expressions for more precise rules.
• Block authors by their display name or @handle.
• Hide comments containing links, only emojis, excessive capitalization or “First/Early” messages.

Want to see what was filtered? Enable clickable placeholders to reveal individual comments. You can also hide the entire comment section.

🎬 HIDE SHORTS
Hide Shorts in supported layouts, including the homepage, search results and navigation menu.

📢 REDUCE ADVERTISING
Hide detected feed ads, promotional banners and advertising overlays.

The experimental video-ad feature attempts to click available skip buttons or fast-forward ads while muted. Afterwards, it restores your previous audio and playback speed.

🌍 CHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE
Use Blokify in English, German or French.

Choose a language yourself or let Blokify follow your browser’s language, with English as the fallback. Your preference is saved and applies to the popup, settings and comment placeholders.

• Manage your word and author filters on the settings page.

• Use debug mode to highlight matching comments instead of hiding them.

📊 SEE WHAT’S BEEN FILTERED
Check how many comments are currently hidden, grouped by filter type. You can also see how many advertising phases Blokify has processed since the page loaded.

The advertising counter measures processed phases, not confirmed successful skips.

🔒 LOCAL PROCESSING
Comment filtering happens in your browser, and your settings are stored locally. Blokify does not send user data to its own servers or analytics services.

🧪 BEFORE YOU START
Image detection uses heuristics and may occasionally miss content or hide an unintended comment. YouTube layout changes can affect individual features.

Video-ad skipping is experimental. Complete ad blocking is not guaranteed.
