I picked this up to make the default browser page a little more visually appealing, specifically the option to use my own background images.
I keep it down to clock, weather, and search to maintain a minimalist appearance, and to avoid cluttering the background.

GOOD EXTENSION MAKES MY START PAGE LOOK AWESOME

I've been using the extension for a long time, and in my opinion, it has only one drawback — the background. It's really unfortunate and limiting that we can't use anything other than an image or a GIF for the background. Since GIFs aren't as high-quality as videos, I believe this is a major shortcoming. If they added the ability to set a video as the background — even something simple like allowing an MP4 — I would give this extension more than 5 stars. I truly hope the developers take my words seriously, because it saddens me to see such potential not being fully utilized.

Ja, es soll minimalistisch sein, die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten (Anordnung) einzelner Elemente könnte etwas individueller sein.
Dennoch mag ich diese Erweiterung sehr und nutze sie schon seit geraumer Zeit. Die Importieroption der Lesezeichen ist sehr praktisch, wenn man die Lesezeichen im Browser ausgeblendet hat.

Aber: Wer braucht die Funktion "Zitate"?

I'm a big fan! The minimalist design makes everything feel so clean and smooth, it's very easy on the eyes. The widgets you can enable add a lot of fun customization that lets you make it your own; I personally love the "feels like" setting for weather which helps me planning my day a bit. A great extension with intuitive design and fun features! What's not to love?
