- Rated 1 out of 5by helloitsmeithink, 9 months agorandomly moves bookmarks inside folders and toolbar folders themselves around. it does place new bookmarks to the top, which is great, but because of the mentioned issues it's pretty much unusable.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13285110, 10 months agoFor some reason it also moves separator to the top, no matter where you trying to create it.
Anyway, great addon, I think it's worth developing! - Rated 1 out of 5by Roj, 4 years agoThis doesn't work for me. It moves the new bookmark from the bottom to the top, but scrambles the positions of all the other bookmarks at the top.

- Rated 4 out of 5by scrosseh, 5 years agoThere already other extensions that do this, love this one icon though xd. What I need is an extension that as button to bookmark pages to the top, so I can choose what goes to the bottom and what goes to the top. Just leaving this idea here hahah xd.

There are none (out of the ones I tried).
The simplest "Sort Bookmarks By Date" only works for newly created bookmarks in the default folder. If you move a bookmark to another folder via the star dropdown or drag and drop it onto another folder it will appear at the very bottom.
The same goes for "Default Bookmark Folder".
"Sort Bookmarks" has sort "by date added" but it "Does not auto-sort after moving a bookmark within a folder".
My extension doesn't mess with sorting. All it does is listening to bookmark create/move events and reposition the bookmark in the question from the last to the first position in its folder.
Tbh I moved from Opera to Firefox and tried to replicate Opera's default bookmark positioning.
