- Rated 5 out of 5by parq, 5 years agoSimple and easy way to clean up the bookmarks. Find and clean duplicates, merge cuplicated folders and manage broken links is easy to do wiht this extension.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15863240, 5 years agoDoes a good job generally. One thing I would fix is to not detect separators as duplicates. They're marked "data:" in a duplicate search
- Rated 3 out of 5by endolith, 5 years agoI wish it could only delete duplicates with the same names, tags, etc. It's based purely on matching URLs, even if the other things are different. I don't want to lose any information.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Olamagato, 5 years agoThe extension is well thought out. Searching and removing duplicates works decently. Deleting empty folders and joining duplicate folders too.
In contrast, the search for broken bookmarks should be improved.
First of all, most broken links are result by any reorganization of the URLs. And this means that in addition to the problem with the link, you should also check if there is a problem with the web server itself. Because if the server is running and its default address is available, the link may not be eligible for removal. This add-on does not check it, but it should. Therefore, the URL should cut off everything after the domain name and check the connection again. Because if the server is actually unavailable and also gives a 404 error, it means that the link can no longer be repaired and restored. I miss that. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13446826, 5 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Mitchell, 5 years agoIt seems to work great. No major issues with the extension so far. I do want the developer to address the following:
1. I can't find a privacy policy anywhere for this extension. Privacy is a very important issue for many of us.
2. Minor Issue: The menu name ("Bookmarks clean up") is the only one of my extensions that isn't in title case. It would be more consistent if it was "Bookmarks Clean Up". - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14398247, 5 years agoAlthough I had to apply the same operation several times before the result stuck, this was the third extension I tried but the first that actually allowed me to do a simple cleanup: first delete all duplicates that share a folder, and then evaluate the relevance of the duplicates that have been placed in different folders.
The extension offers one click removal of empty folders, but there's no manual inspection possible so I don't feel in control with that function. - Rated 4 out of 5by krishnanblr, 5 years ago

Worked great.
It would be nice to see the title, or where in my bookmarks the offending bookmark is located, for future improvement. - Rated 3 out of 5by FiXen.Un, 5 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Wyndsayl, 5 years agoExcellent job on finding dead links of varying kinds.
However really poor on finding duplicates. For some reason it's showing folders at the same level as duplicates (:data) which are not other than them being folders. You will delete your tree following through on that. Obviously this must be fixed.Developer response
posted 5 years agoHi, can you export bookmarks structure (to HTML format) that is causing the bug and upload it somewhere, so I could investigate it further? - Rated 5 out of 5by MJ, 5 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13197014, 5 years ago- this add-on correctly detected quite some dead bookmarks that '404 Bookmarks' add-on had not seen in this location. So very good.
- Dupes it detected were actual *folders*, so deleting them would have brought havoc in my bookmarks library. Not good. - Rated 5 out of 5by Andrey, 5 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12431136, 5 years agoA tool I was looking for a few years... Thanks !
I wonder if "exclusion of folders" could be a little more put forward (I accidentally removed bookmarks of intranet sites).
The generation of screenshots could be a nice feature. It would help removing another kind od of obsolete bookmarks: those whose answer indicates that the site has been moved. - Rated 5 out of 5by mileyvalentine, 5 years ago
