Grim Poster reads the Blood on the Clocktower page on the site botc.app to capture the Grimoire and prepare its Discord post. The capture may contain player names, profile images, roles, the script name, game state, and—depending on the privacy-filter setting—camera feeds.

The extension stores its settings, webhook URL, and any pending capture locally in Firefox. A pending capture remains on your device until you post, download, or delete it. When you test the webhook or post a capture, Grim Poster sends the test message or image and caption directly to the Discord webhook you configured. Discord then handles that information under its own privacy policy. Grim Poster’s developer does not receive the capture. The extension does not use analytics or tracking.

The extension may request player profile images from botc.app’s image service to include them in the capture. If the optional local capture helper is used, it communicates with the extension on your own device.
