BrowseVeil - Browser Privacy Control by 造码青年

BrowseVeil is a local-first Firefox privacy extension that helps users manage the browser environment for the current website.

Key features:

• Site-level fingerprint protection: create a local fingerprint profile for user-authorized websites.
• Current-site session reset: clear cookies, cache, LocalStorage, IndexedDB, and Service Worker data for the current site only.
• One-click fingerprint reset: regenerate the local fingerprint profile for the current site.
• Fingerprint consistency controls: locally protect browser signals such as Canvas, WebGL, Audio, Navigator, Screen, language, and timezone.
• User-provided proxy settings: configure your own HTTP proxy or proxy subscription and check the current exit IP.

Privacy:

BrowseVeil does not provide proxy services, sell IP addresses, collect user accounts, or upload browsing data to the developer. Settings, site profiles, enabled-site lists, and proxy configuration are stored locally in the user's browser.

BrowseVeil does not run protection logic on every website by default. It only applies protection after the user explicitly enables protection for the current site and grants the required site permission.
