- Rated 5 out of 5by KrevNasty, 9 months agoTHANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS ADD-ON!!! I always seem to have a few random bookmarks that just have the empty globe icon and this fixes that! Extremely useful if you have bookmarks on your toolbar without labels. I've been wishing for this for years.

- Rated 3 out of 5by firedoge, 2 years agoReally handy. But it normally just works. So the icon in the URL bar is really annoying, it clutters the space and unlike the normal Addon icon it cant be hidden. Please change that! The addon is nessecary for normal usage.

In the last year, 4 bookmarked websites started to "remove" their icons and it´s quite distracting. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13439695, 2 years agoit's working. but could you not place the extension button in address bar or change the Icon ?

posted 2 years agoI think it's possible to provide the option of having either a regular toolbar button ("browser action") or an address bar button ("page action") but unfortunately, there's no way to move it, it would need to be changed through the Options page (after writing all the new code).
Do you have a suggestion for a new icon? You can send it to me at jscher2000@outlook.com, or create a new issue at https://github.com/jscher2000/cache-favicons-for-bookmarks-extension/issues - Rated 5 out of 5by Hollytryx, 2 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by harlock59, 3 years agoHello, it doesn't work for this website: https://login.paysafecard.com/customer-auth/?client_id=mypinsPR&theme=mypins&locale=fr_FR&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.paysafecard.com%2Fmypins-psc%2FtokenExchange.xhtml

posted 3 years agoThat site doesn't prevent caching of their icon but Firefox isn't saving the icon. I suspect it's because Firefox first requests https://login.paysafecard.com/favicon.ico and that redirects to a login page instead of returning a "not found" or "forbidden" response. Firefox does proceed to request the real icon at https://login.paysafecard.com/customer-auth/clients/mypins/favicon.ico?v=2.78.1 and uses that on the tab, but for some reason it doesn't use that one for the bookmark. ?? - Rated 5 out of 5by Powsin, 3 years agoThis extension fixed my long term problem of my favorites sites bookmarked without icons. Fucking amazing if you ask me.
I would give this shit 10 stars if I could. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mofiac, 3 years ago
