ChangePreview Privacy Policy — Firefox Extension
ChangePreview is provided by NextGen Folks, the business of independent entrepreneur Ali Tahir.
Local processing
ChangePreview reads supported form fields and the current page URL within your browser to compare original and edited values and associate saved changes with the correct page. This information is not uploaded to NextGen Folks or third parties.
Local storage
Preferences are stored in Firefox’s local extension storage. When you enable Keep after reload, ChangePreview also stores change snapshots, including field labels, original and edited values, and page information, on your device so you can review or reapply changes after refreshing.
You can remove saved changes for the current page using Clear or by turning off Keep after reload.
Sensitive information
Password fields and recognized sensitive fields are excluded from tracking. These checks cannot identify every kind of sensitive information. Personal or sensitive content entered into ordinary form fields may still be processed locally and included in snapshots when Keep after reload is enabled.
Exports
Copying or downloading changes is initiated by you. Exports may contain form values and page information. You control where you paste, save, or share them.
Website access
Website access allows ChangePreview to capture original form values before you edit them. You can manage or revoke access through Firefox’s extension settings.
Accounts and analytics
The extension requires no account and includes no analytics, advertising, or remote transmission of form contents.
