- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14956196, 2 years agoThe function is good, but sometimes, it cannot export PDF file and I cannot see any message. The reason is too huge or other limitation ?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17835049, 2 years agoThere is no search feature, the main feature of this extension.
Developer response
posted 2 years agoYes there is. Click the extension icon and then click "history". In the top left there is a search box "Search Threads". - Rated 1 out of 5by Chris Hayes, 2 years agoSeems to be broken on ChatGPT Pro. Console is filled with errors. Also has debug console logs like "HEYYYY" which doesn't make an extension look very professional.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 5498455, 2 years agoFantastic curated prompts and some fun features. Really dig the content from the subreddit and the extension just works. Not sure why the negative reviews but that was an old version. Check the github repo for any current issues.

- Rated 1 out of 5by abdoalihuss, 2 years agoIt didn't save any ChatGPT history, just saved the prompts to ChatGPT, not the responses the language model provides.
Developer response
posted 2 years agoHi. We are aware of this and are working on a fix. https://github.com/benf2004/ChatGPT-Prompt-Genius/issues/92 - Rated 1 out of 5by Invictus, 2 years agoGive us a good reason of why would you need to access our data for www.reddit.com
Developer response
posted 2 years agoWhy does this extension require reddit permissions?
The only permission we require is for our own subreddit, r/ChatGPTPromptGenius, and this is only to help format when you submit prompts to our subreddit. We also insert a button to allow you to quickly import other people’s prompts. We do not run any scripts on any other subreddit, and we do not collect any data from reddit.
You can review the manifest file with permissions here(you can ask ChatGPT to explain it to you): https://github.com/benf2004/ChatGPT-Prompt-Genius/blob/master/manifests/mv2-manifest/manifest.json
Thanks for using the extension! Let me know if you have any other questions. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ammaro, 2 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lag, 2 years agoWorks really well, great interface, only asks for 1 permission to read the chatgpt page. Couldn't ask for more.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Modenium, 2 years agothe feature the extension present is desirable but this extension has serious performance issues, it froze my browser multiple times until I disabled it [I even got a warning from the browser, that the extension is slowing down the page and a button to stop it,
the extension is also flooding the console

there are over a thousand logs in the console like the lines above [1008 to be exact] (which wouldn't have stopped if I didn't disable the extension, and btw this in a tab that was opened for less than 3 min
since the site was updated on 15 dec the old text doesn't disappear anymore after the timeout/bodystream issue, so saving every change in the page as it happens isn't needed, I forgot what programmers call that thing but your loop is flawed, the loop never stops even if there is no change in the page [the one flooding the logs]
the same here > it never stop

maybe you should put an option to save only on request [for ex, once you click the extension icon or through the contextmenu]
aside from the issues above [which is critical] whenever you try to open a thread you are forced in a new tab which is quite inconvenient [and honestly irritating]
that will be all, also I won't keep the extension enabled for now I can see that it's on active development so I'll be keeping an eye on it, I'm rooting for you sincerely.
Edit: checked again after the last update, using "Continue your conversation" I picked a thread but the conversation the extension posted in the chat was a completely different thread.
Edit2: I don't know if the performance issues is fixed yet (nothing about it in the releases notes since) however the irritating behavior of opening a new tab when you browse a saved conversation is still the same. - Rated 5 out of 5by zubspace, 2 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17696498, 2 years agoDidn't seem to work. It would show a history of the questions you asked but not the AI's responses.
Edit: Developer responded that the issue was fixed, but now the add-on doesn't seem to record anything. Changing Star Rating from 2 to 1 Star. - Rated 5 out of 5by Antigone Merlin, 2 years agoIt just works, and it's basically google doc's autosave feature, except for ChatGPT.
