Local Runner Bridge connects explicitly marked shell blocks in ChatGPT to a user-operated runner on the local machine. RUN_LOCAL blocks require confirmation, while AUTO_LOCAL supports a restricted server-side read-only allowlist. Multiple manual blocks can be executed sequentially with one confirmation. Results are captured and returned to the active ChatGPT conversation. The extension uses a token-authenticated service bound to 127.0.0.1 and has no analytics, advertising, or developer-operated backend.
