ChatGPT UTM Link Cleaner does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal data, browsing history, website content, interaction data, or technical data. It has no analytics, telemetry, accounts, advertising, remote code, or network endpoint.

The extension runs only on https://chatgpt.com/*. It reads link URLs and copied text locally so it can remove the exact query pair utm_source=chatgpt.com. Sanitized values remain inside the local page/browser operation. The extension does not read the system clipboard; it can only change data in an active copy event or a ChatGPT page call to navigator.clipboard.writeText() or navigator.clipboard.write(). It also cleans URL data immediately before a ChatGPT page call to window.open() or navigator.share().

Websites opened by the user remain subject to those websites' and Firefox's own privacy practices. This extension does not add requests or send data to them.
