Chattermon Companion Privacy Policy

Chattermon Companion, previously named Bojimon Companion, is an unofficial browser companion for itboji’s Twitch stream.

Information handled

The extension handles your entered Twitch username, collection records, selected Pokémon and raid moves, favorites, appearance preferences, window settings, saved looks, TTS drafts, templates, and recent command actions. Imported hat images are stored locally.

On itboji’s Twitch channel and supported chat pages, it inspects newly displayed messages for supported commands and retains relevant command state only for the configured username. It does not retain unrelated conversations or general browsing history.

Optional My Boji sync reads a bounded game profile from itboji.com, including your display name, color, hat, voice, follower, next-raid choices, owned cards, hat entitlements, and raid-planner information. It uses the website’s existing signed-in session. The extension does not extract or store passwords, session cookies, or authentication tokens.

Storage and use

Information is used only to provide the companion’s features. Settings, drafts, caches, and rendered personal-icon pixels stay in local browser extension storage. Imported images stay in local IndexedDB. The extension does not use browser account storage sync or a developer-operated account database.

Network requests

The extension requests game data and media from itboji.com, Pokémon sprites from jsDelivr, and 3D model assets from GitHub’s raw-content service. Personal raid-history queries send the queried Twitch username to itboji.com. Optional profile sync sends a same-origin request using the site’s existing session.

These services receive ordinary request information, including your IP address and the requested resource, under their own policies.

Refresh is manual by default. Optional automatic refresh runs only while the companion is visible, subject to shared cache limits. Automatic My Boji profile reads are limited to once every two minutes across companion windows. Boji tabs do not poll independently. Closing or hiding all companion views stops scheduled refreshes and cancels pending API reads.

Sharing and control

The extension contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, or developer data-collection endpoint. The developer does not receive or sell your local companion data. TTS drafts, templates, and imported images are not uploaded by the extension.

Copying writes your chosen text to the system clipboard; the extension does not read the clipboard. Messages, cheers, rewards, and files are not submitted automatically. Anything you later paste, submit, export, or share is handled by its recipient.

Retention and deletion

Local settings and drafts remain until replaced, deleted, reset, or the extension is uninstalled. Recent-action history is limited to 20 entries per profile and recovery history to eight drafts per profile. Cached data is replaced on refresh and may remain available offline.

Turning off site sync clears retained site snapshots. Observed logout also clears them. Private site snapshots are excluded from settings exports.

You can manage saved content and reset profiles, caches, or preferences in More → Settings. Uninstalling removes extension storage. Exported files, clipboard contents, and information shared elsewhere must be deleted separately.
