Chess Board Studio collects no data. Your settings are stored in your own browser and never leave it. There are no accounts, analytics or ads.
Artwork
The add-on does not bundle any piece or board images. When you pick a set, your browser loads its images from where they are already hosted:
• lichess1.org (Lichess artwork)
• images.chesscomfiles.com (chess.com artwork)
• cdn.jsdelivr.net (open-source sets from the pychess, Kadagaden and chess-art projects)
Those servers see a normal image request, as they would when you visit the sites.
Chess Board Studio is an independent project by NEBULOS Inc. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lichess or Chess.com. Piece and board artwork belongs to its respective owners.
