Chess Risk Score does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. The extension fetches publicly available game statistics from the Chess.com API (api.chess.com) and Lichess API (lichess.org) to generate opponent risk profiles. No account credentials, browsing history, cookies, or personally identifiable information is accessed or shared. The only local storage used is for caching user preferences (such as overlay display settings) via the browser's built-in storage API. No data is sent to any third-party server, analytics service, or external database. All processing occurs locally within the browser.
