About this extension
Chrono shows how long a video really takes at your speed, and the moment you'll finish, right at the top of YouTube's sidebar.

A 40-minute lecture at 1.5× is 26 minutes 40. Chrono does that math for every video, chapter and playlist, keeps it live as you change speed, and turns it into a clock time: "Ends 3:45 PM".

What you get
• Finish time at a glance: the watch time left at your speed and when you'll be done, with speed − and + beside them.
• Every speed side by side: remaining and finish time from 0.25× to 4×. Click a row to switch.
• Chapters and playlists: the time left in the chapter you're in, or up to any entry in a playlist.
• Targets: have 45 minutes, or need to be done by 6 PM? Chrono works out the speed you need and applies it in one click.
• Past 2×: the player stops at 2×. Chrono's + keeps going in 0.25× steps up to 4×, and every estimate follows.
• Player badge: an optional "/ ends 3:45 PM" after the player's own time, in fullscreen too.
• Playlist totals: one line on playlist pages with the total length, the watch time at your speed, and how many entries are unavailable.

Made to fit in
• Looks like part of the page: same type, same shapes, light and dark theme, theater and fullscreen.
• Chrono's speed is the player's speed. Change it in either place.
• Pauses its estimates during ad breaks, and stays out of the way on live streams.
• Works in background tabs and as you move from video to video.
• Keyboard and screen-reader friendly, and respects reduced motion.
• 12- or 24-hour clock, or automatic.
