New release of v5.0.1 includes:
- Classic is now the default layout for the player controls and the menu.
- New users get a welcome card to pick the controls layout, menu, theme, color and note flash, with live preview.
- Every setting in the popup has an (i) explanation, plus a “More settings below” hint.
- New “Wipe Cache & Settings” button resets everything to default.
- The Reset and Done buttons under “Rearrange buttons” now match the theme.
- Note flash is now labelled Beta.

0.4.5 Changes include:
- Note flash now works in the multitrack view: every track shown lights up in time with its own notes.
- Note flash now works on songs with repeats and with two voices (for example a held bass note under a melody), where it used to stay dark. Second-voice notes light up too.
- Ghost notes like (5) now light up in full, brackets included.
- Note flash is sturdier: if part of Songsterr’s page changes, it stops quietly instead of misbehaving.
- Light theme: the chosen Orig. / Synth option now has white text, which is easier to read.

0.4.3 features a UI arrangement fix.
- Classic quick menu: items are back in their usual order (Search … For teachers, Help, then Inbox and Account on the right), after a recent Songsterr update rearranged them.

0.4.2 implements UI fixes and expands on theme coverage.
- Light theme: the logo and play button now go from light to your color, suiting light themes better with no dark edges like before.
- Gradient Off now uses your exact theme color rather than a lighter shade.
- Songsterr’s leftover green and blue (Orig./Synth flash, badges, favorite star, difficulty dots, playlists) now follow your color theme.
- Better text contrast on colored buttons, including very light custom colors.
- Small fixes: My tabs hover, the Off theme in light mode, and the settings popup with Gradient Off.

Quick last minute fixes:
- Theme now defaults to Auto, following Songsterr’s own light/dark setting. If you picked Dark or Light before, that choice is kept.
- Fixed the instrument line under the song title being hard to read when the extension is dark and Songsterr’s page is light.

A big theming update, nearly every part of Songsterr now follows your chosen theme.

• Windows and panels: User profile, Fretboard, Speed, Mixer, AI Assistant, cookie settings, and the Plus and pricing popups.
• Tooltips, dropdown lists and checkboxes.
• The playback cursor and the tuning fork use your accent colour.
• The “Editor draft” badge no longer hides under the Classic top bar.
• Many smaller rounded or Songsterr-blue leftovers now match the theme.

This update includes major improvements to the reskin experience:

Alerts (like “Switch to the editor to use this shortcut”) are restyled to match the theme, and no longer sit under the menu bar or the Legacy side column.
The date tag above the History button and the “plus” tags match the theme.
The song title, artist and instrument line above the tab use the theme’s font and accent colour.
The Songsterr logo takes on your colour theme.
The player box (album art, “Full mix”, upload and report buttons) is restyled to match the theme.
Fusion: more space between the player box and the strip above it.

for version 0.3.13:
- Popups now open level with their button, in the Legacy sidebar and button column and on the Classic toolbar.
- Classic toolbar popups sit on top of the bar, so the button that opened them stays clickable.
- Fixed the inbox width.
- Fusion and Classic: in edit mode, the delete button now lines up with the buttons beside it.
- Legacy: the delete button is now round and sits to the right of the edit button, so turning editing on or off no longer moves the edit button and risks a misclick on delete.
- Classic: buttons that are switched on (Loop, Solo, Mute, track list) keep their colour when you hover over them.
- Panels like Search no longer slide under the Legacy sidebar in narrower windows.
- Fixed a gap at the bottom of panels when using the Classic menu with Legacy controls.
- The Classic menu no longer shifts when the inbox opens.
- Picking the accent colour that "Auto" was already showing now saves that color.
