About this extension
Clipppy saves anything you find on the web — pages, links, images, and quotes — into private visual collections, in one click.
Save it now. Sort it later. Clipping takes a single click, and filing is something you can do whenever you feel like it, or never.
Four ways to save
• Click the toolbar button to save the page you're on.
• Right-click anything — a page, a link, an image, or text you've highlighted — and send it straight to Clipppy.
• Turn on the optional hover button and every image on any site gets a "Clip it" button when you point at it.
• Saved something in the wrong place? The confirmation popup has a Move-to picker, and can make a new collection on the spot.
What you get back
Pages are saved with a full-page screenshot, so a clip still looks right years later even if the original page changes or disappears. Links get titles, descriptions and preview images. Images come across at full resolution. Highlighted text is kept as a note attached to the page you took it from.
Everything lands in your collections — boards for work, research, and things you just liked. Private by default. Drop one clip onto another to make a folder, or don't, and search for it later.
Privacy
Clipppy sends what you save to your own Clipppy account and nowhere else. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party services in the extension. It only ever transmits something at the moment you ask it to — there is no background collection and no browsing history.
The hover button is off until you turn it on, because it's the only feature that needs access to other sites. Turning it off again removes that access.
You'll need a Clipppy account — sign in once in the browser and the extension rides that session. Free to use.
