Firefox extension: data permissions
For the Firefox edition, optional usage counters are transmitted only when you grant the technical and interaction data permission in Firefox and leave usage sharing enabled in the extension. Revoking that permission or disabling sharing stops counters and requests deletion of the previous installation record. This Firefox-specific rule overrides the general default-on description below.

Compare Browsers
The proxy provider processes routed network requests, including destination domains; HTTPS content stays encrypted between your browser and the destination. IP and country verification uses the services listed below. Provider-issued proxy credentials are kept in browser session storage and are sent only to the assigned proxy or provider API. They are not sent to the control website. Installed VPN extensions are inspected locally to warn about conflicts; the installed-extension list is not uploaded. Firefox requires permission to run in private windows before it allows this extension to change proxy settings.

Service and contact
This policy applies to vpn.setlion.net and the Completely Free Unlimited VPN browser extension, provided under the Completely Free Unlimited VPN service brand. Use the contact form for privacy questions, access, correction and deletion requests.

Data stored in your browser
Language, preferred country, favorites, routing domains, privacy preferences, timers, local counters and up to 50 status events are stored on your device. The observed pre-connection IP and verified proxy exit IP belong to local connection state. The popup hides connection details when the connection is no longer verified. Settings and local statistics can be reset from the control center.

Browsing and proxy providers
The extension does not collect browsing history or visited-page contents. Third-party proxy operators process routed requests and may keep their own records. HTTPS protects request content in transit when the destination uses a valid HTTPS connection; it does not make a proxy operator invisible or guarantee anonymity.

Connection checks
The extension obtains the server list from vpn.setlion.net. Connection verification requests www.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace, so Cloudflare sees the exit IP for that request. The control center, verification services and normal website requests can produce technical access and security logs. Exit verification may also use ipapi.co and ipinfo.io. Protected exceptions connect directly and see the original IP.

Optional usage counters
Usage sharing is on by default and stays on unless you turn it off and save. Your choice is remembered. a random installation identifier, product identifier, extension name, browser extension ID, connection state, country, version, browser and window state are sent to vpn.weasocial.com. The server stores a hash of the installation identifier and uses a 30-day retention window. Original IP, exit IP, browsing history and visited URLs are not included. Turning sharing off requests deletion, with a retry when the network is unavailable.

Contact messages
The contact form stores your name, email address, subject and message in the service inbox so the request can be handled. These details are not added to advertising profiles. Messages are retained while needed to handle the request and related security or legal obligations. Ask through the form for access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable requirements.

Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense can process IP addresses, device information, cookies and advertising identifiers under its own policies. Data may be shared with Google and its advertising partners. Advertising is separated from download and connection controls. No automatic ad clicks, rewards for ad clicks or hidden extension advertisements are generated.

Consent and your choices
Where a certified consent platform is required, advertising waits for an applicable consent decision from that platform. Your site language preference is saved only after you choose a language. Essential session cookies protect contact and administration forms. Browser controls can clear local storage and cookies; doing so resets saved preferences and ends administrator sessions.

Security and international services
HTTPS, access controls, secure sessions and request validation are used to protect the service. No system is risk-free. Google, Cloudflare, Weasocial and proxy providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards. We do not sell contact messages or browser history.

The update date on this page identifies the current policy version. Material changes to data handling are reflected here. This policy describes actual service behavior and does not waive rights that apply under local law.
