Context Actions is a Firefox and Chrome extension that turns selected text into a quick browser action. Create your own context-menu entries with URL templates, then use them to search the web, open a service for a hostname or IP address, or send an identifier to any HTTP or HTTPS endpoint. Templates can insert text as-is or URL-encode it, and an optional per-action cleaner removes unwanted characters such as whitespace and hidden control characters.
