posted 9 months agoThanks for your feedback! What "video field" are you talking about?
Can you provide more details, please? Is there any other extension you use that may cause the issue?
I rechecked playing/pausing the video with focusing at almost every possible element on the page and it still works properly. - Rated 5 out of 5by Andrii, 9 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by capi1O, a year agoDoes what it says. Play/pauses the video no matter which element is focused.
- Rated 5 out of 5by peterhil, a year agoThis fixes the play/pause with keyboard when the play/pause button is in focus.
Could you please also handle the case when focus is elsewhere? Currently Youtube have changed the spacebar key shortcut to 2x playback speed from play/pause, which is braindead in my opinion.Developer response

What do you mean by "the case when focus is elsewhere"? The way this extensions works is whenever you press [Spacebar] key it will play/pause video on the page. The only case when it doesn't is when you type some text in search bar or comments section. I would be grateful for a more detailed explanation :)

Or just edit your current reply with "P.S" block - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12857096, a year agoThe extension works, thanks!
But is it possible to narrow down the permissions request from "Access your data for all websites" to "Access your data on www.youtube.com" like the old "YouTube Spacebar Pause" extension?
Because I admit I don't want to give such a wide access )
