- Rated 4 out of 5by Joel Polowin, 7 years agoIt's good, though not *quite* what I'm looking for. I'd like to have something like the no-longer-supported "Leet Key", ideally, which allowed me to select text on a page and have it "decrypted" in place, without affecting the surrounding text. My main interest is ROT13, mind you, which may be simpler to handle in this kind of way.
Having Cryptext pull the selected text into its edit window, as suggested by another reviewer, would definitely be a good feature.
Another possibly-useful "encryption" mode would be disemvoweling (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disemvoweling). - Rated 5 out of 5by westpoint2, 7 years agoLove this addon. Use it for URL decode.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13507918, 7 years agoIt's nice to have these options handy, but as is it's not any different than a separate program. At the very least this add-on should be able to fill itself with the text that is selected if not modify the text in the page. What is the point of having it as an add-on?
