About this extension
CyberMask is a lightweight, privacy-focused extension designed to prevent shoulder-surfing, streaming leaks, and accidental exposures of sensitive data on screen.
Instead of ugly blurs or static redaction bars, CyberMask conceals target emails, custom keywords, API tokens, and selected language scripts behind a real-time, uniform ASCII cypher.
Instead of ugly blurs or static redaction bars, CyberMask conceals target emails, custom keywords, API tokens, and selected language scripts behind a real-time, uniform ASCII cypher.
- Universal Target Protection: Cloaks sensitive emails, names, secret words, codenames, and API tokens.
- Strict Click-To-Reveal: Hovering never reveals text. Only an intentional click toggles between the cloaked cypher and the real data.
- Language Script Filtering: One-click toggle to automatically detect and censor Hebrew, Arabic, or Cyrillic text across any webpage.
- Static (0% CPU) Mode: Toggle between live animation and a silent, static ASCII mask with zero timer loops.
- Adaptive Light & Dark Theming: Automatically blends into light and dark websites, with preset themes (Adaptive, Cyber Lime, Ice Slate, Monochrome, and Amber).
- Dynamic SPA & Live Feed Defense: Built with MutationObserver and TreeWalker to instantly cloak dynamic content in Gmail, Discord, and web apps.
- 100% local execution: Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero external network requests.
