Would be 5 stars if it would work for all open firefox windows: if I click it in the second window only the first window gets dark.
Edit: Seemed to be a one-timer only when the plugin was installed, after a restart it worked perfectly fine on all windows.Developer response
posted 9 months agoThanks for the great review! This extension should apply the dark screen over every tab you have opened, even new tabs. Could you share some info in our GitHub repository about your OS and Firefox version and maybe even a video of you turning on the extension? Thanks for the extension!

Really Helpful in protecting me from a headache from these extra bright and white webpages - Rated 5 out of 5by Dan, a year ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by scroopy, 2 years agomuch more consistently useful than high contrast dark modes. When using them I find I would often have to exclude it from a page for fear of missing text / buttons.
This keeps the browsing experience smoother when suddenly coming across a light themed website.
thanks! - Rated 2 out of 5by Doug, 2 years agoTo be clear, this extension just dims the webpage so it's not as bright. It's like turning down the brightness on your monitor but just for the browser.

- Rated 5 out of 5by HopeOrigins, 2 years agoWorks the way I want it to darken my screen, BUT I also wish that it kept the values I set it up, or that there was a way to change the default values every time we turn it on or change it.
Update : There was a bug (with Firefox ESR) that got fixed, and now it does indeed keep the setting I last used, thanks and 5 StarsDeveloper response
posted 2 years agoThanks for the review! A storage system should've come with the update that allows you to change colors. Could you check that the add-on has the latest update (version 1.9)? If the add-on continues to fail to store your values, please submit an issue on the GitHub repository with information like your Operating System and Firefox version: https://github.com/RedHotRojo/Dark-Mode-Screen/issues - Rated 5 out of 5by if1, 2 years agoSmall and - as far as I can tell - does exactly what it says on the tin. Middle button menu popup (not exactly intuitive btw, might want to feature a more prominent reminder on the page) includes an option to exclude the current site. The sliders are useful if you want to mess with the tint.
Can't really ask for more imo. This is a pretty good add-on for if you simply want to dim your pages but not re-theme them, especially since some of those end up giving you funky replacement colours. This avoids that problem while also dealing with the whole "argh my eyes" issue when you open a site that stupidly throws up huge chunks of unused whitespace at you.
5/5, recommended. - Rated 5 out of 5by pablo_b, 3 years agoQuick, lightweight and simple extension to darken the look of the page. The middle mouse button options are not very intuitive for me.
