About this extension
Turn any public web page into a finished, narrated demo video — made by AI, not by you. Click the Demofy button on the page you want to show, say in one line what the demo should cover, and Demofy's AI explores the app in a real browser, films it with smooth zooms and adds a voiceover.
• AI does the filming. You never record your screen: an AI explores the page the way a person would and Demofy films the flow it finds.
• Narrated and zoomed. The camera follows each click and a voiceover explains what is happening.
• One click from any public web page. The page's address is filled in for you — nothing to copy and paste. (A page behind a sign-in needs a saved connection in Demofy first.)
• Free to start. There is no signup wall.
• Yours to use. Download the finished video as an MP4 or share it.
How it works. 1) Open the page you want a demo of and click the Demofy button in your toolbar. 2) Demofy opens in a new tab with that page's address already filled in. 3) Write one line about what the demo should show and press Create demo. 4) Watch the build log as Demofy explores, films and narrates, then download or share the video.
What the extension itself does — and does not. It is only the shortcut in step 1. It reads the address of the tab you clicked on, at the moment you click, and opens a Demofy page with it. It does not run on the pages you visit, it does not read what is on them, it records nothing and it keeps nothing — there is no account, no login and no setting inside the extension.
The permission, in plain terms. It asks for one:
What Firefox will ask you about. Because clicking the button sends the address of that one tab to Demofy — that is how the create form gets filled in — Firefox shows you a data-collection notice naming browsing activity when you install. That notice is accurate, and it covers exactly one thing: the address of the tab you pressed the button on. Nothing else is sent, and nothing is sent unless you press it.
After you click. The extension stops there. When you press Create demo on Demofy, the page address and your one-line request are handled by Demofy's service and sent to the AI model provider that plans the demo (DeepSeek), and the narration text goes to its voice provider (VoiceLabs).
