- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18530000, 9 days agoI was about to rate it 4-stars because I was annoyed with the auto-play, but luckily I found the developer's comment. The settings can be accessed at the right of the address bar on your browser when viewing the Discogs marketplace. Kudos Phatbyte!
If I might make a couple suggestions, I'd love there to be a feature that allows me to "auto-next" to the next release. Either that, or auto-add everything on the visible page to the playlist so I can just open a browser window and let it play without having to click the next release's preview button.
Also, it might be cool to implement an adjustable max-playtime, so it plays each song for only a certain amount of time. For instance, if you're browsing through Ricardo Villalobos' discography, you're going to come across a ton of 15-20 minute songs. This feature would add the ability to play each song for a much shorter duration (like, 2 minutes). - Rated 5 out of 5by MistaRizla, a month ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18543083, 5 months agoThis thing is a game changer for discogs digging, but there's a couple things that make it annoying enough that I might consider removing it:
- It autoplays whatever is at the top of the page whenever I open eg. a seller's collection. Really annoying as I rarely if ever need to listen to the first thing that happens to be at the top of the page, so I'm constantly fighting with it to shut up while I search through what's there.
- The UI itself opens automatically and takes up a lot of room on the page, which makes it feel like a helpful hindrance (like Microsoft Clippy I guess). A way to have the UI remain minimised until needed (and just generally smaller) would be great.
With these two shortcomings it feels kinda like your annoying little friend who gets in your personal space and is constantly talking over you but also happens to be really smart and have cool toys so you keep him around. Hoping that one day he'll grow up to be less annoying ;)Developer response
posted 5 months agoHey, thanks for the review :) regarding all of your issues you can easily toggle the UI OFF and autostart OFF from the plugins options. You should find the icon on the search bar at the right side. Just toggle these options off and click save. Hope this helps
