DomainRatio combines DNS inspection, domain registration intelligence, infrastructure discovery, and security observations into a unified investigation workspace.
DNS Intelligence
- Inspect A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, CAA, SOA, DS, DNSKEY and TLSA records.
- Query DNS information through Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS.
- Examine domain configuration and identify records that may require attention.
WHOIS & Registration Intelligence
- WHOIS and RDAP integration.
- Registration information and domain lifecycle details, where available.
- Optional extended WHO.IS lookups.
Infrastructure Discovery
- DNSDumpster API integration.
- Discover infrastructure records, IP addresses and additional provider information according to your API entitlement.
- Optional public Certificate Transparency discovery.
Email & Domain Security
- SPF and DMARC observations.
- MTA-STS and TLS reporting checks.
- CAA and DNSSEC record observations.
- Evidence-based findings rather than arbitrary security ratings.
Investigation Workspace
- Dedicated full-page investigation interface.
- Save local investigation snapshots.
- Compare historical DNS and email-record observations.
- Export investigation data in JSON, CSV and HTML formats.
DomainRatio operates through user-initiated investigations. It does not automatically monitor your browsing activity or include an advertising analytics service.
The domain being investigated is transmitted to the relevant lookup providers. Optional integrations require your own API credentials, which are stored in local Firefox extension storage.
DomainRatio does not provide unrestricted vulnerability scanning, exploit testing or authoritative security certification.
Basic DNS inspection is available without purchasing a premium service. Some provider-specific capabilities require separate API credentials or subscriptions.
