Automatically creates a text files with attribution information whenever a file begins downloading. The attribution file contains the save-as file name, the original download URL, and the date the download started.

About this extension
Download Attribution is a Firefox extension that automatically creates an attribution file for every downloaded file, containing information about the original author and source. Perfect for keeping track of source material and ensuring proper attribution within projects.
For security reasons, the user must manually choose where to save the .attrib file. On Android, attribute files will always save into the downloads folder.

- The direct download link of file.referrer
- The web page that contained the direct download link.filename
- The local file name where the download was saved.startTime
- UTC download start time.
