About this extension
Features
• Fonts: Choose from Andika, Lexend, Shantell Sans, OpenDyslexic, Atkinson Hyperlegible, or use any custom font available on your system.
• Adjustable spacing: Change letter spacing, word spacing, and line height.
• Site exclusion: Skip pages where the font change isn't needed.
• Light & dark themes: Matches your system theme or choose manually.
• Minimal overhead: Runs with near-zero CPU usage. Stays asleep unless settings change.
• No data collection: Everything happens locally. No tracking or ads.
Why I built this
I've always struggled with reading. Whenever I faced a wall of text, I'd instinctively reach for audios, videos, or anything visual instead. Traditional fonts just felt heavy and exhausting to concentrate on. Discovering dyslexic-friendly fonts made reading less boring and actually enjoyable.
I tried many great accessibility tools, but I found I just needed something minimalist and fast: only the font, spacing, and site exclusions. I created this to solve my own struggle, and I hope it helps you too.
Open Source
This is my small contribution to a community that's given me so much. The code is fully open on GitHub if you want to peek under the hood:
