UPD: Main issue with exceptions fixed, upped to 5 stars. Clear cache/reset/re-install if you played around with other fonts related extensions.
UPD: I will take my time to do a clean install of zen to validate the problems described below aren't caused something specific to my install.
Regardless of this, having a separate place to configure exception rules with wildcards, top domains etc would be nice.
For anyone looking for an OpenDyslexic font extension - consider this one. Minus my weird issues with it it's a solid 10/10 and the only one with this features set while not being a full site styling

Idea it's amazing and well executed on many levels, really wanted it to work due to possibility to set exceptions, and the customization is nice.
However, exclusion just doesn't work for me on any protected .mcas.ms app(e.g. teams, excel).
And for some reason when I have two teams pages opened in different browser windows it will just not disable on one windows while not on the other. I use Zen but shouldn't matter, don't have any mods or custom settings on the fonts.

Would love to file a github issue but it turned out to be much more complicated than "exclusion doesn't work on .mcas.ms" and don't quite have the time and will to find the exact steps to replicate each weird exception behavior. Will certainly check back later to see if it was fixed/document my issues on github.
