Privacy Policy for EasyFRS

EasyFRS is a browser extension designed to enhance the user experience of the ITS Surabaya Academic Portal. Your privacy is our top priority.

1. Information Collection and Use

EasyFRS does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, login credentials, passwords, or academic records.

2. Local Storage

The extension requests the storage permission solely to provide the "Favorites" feature.
- Course IDs that you "heart" are saved locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
- This data never leaves your computer and is not accessible by the developer or any third party.

3. Data Transmission

EasyFRS does not communicate with any external servers. All processing and UI rendering happen locally within your browser.

4. Permissions Justification

• Host Permission (://akademik.its.ac.id/): Required to inject the search and filtering interface into the academic portal.
• Storage: Required to remember your saved/favorite courses between sessions.

5. Third-Party Sites

The extension operates on the official ITS Academic Portal. We do not have control over the privacy practices of the official portal itself.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
