Tried it on a couple of YT videos with playing media but it didn't work for me. IT TRIES TO INSTALL OTHER EXTENSIONS - I DON'T THINK SO! Is there something nefarious about these additional extensions that you couldn't let Mozilla see them and want to add them later!?!? :( Running Win7(64) with Firefox 115.18.0esr (64-bit).

A sorry excuse for an extension. Instead of putting a button on the page, like you'd expect, it's only accessible through the Extensions menu. Clicking on it doesn't download the video, but rather directs you to a separate site to download it. And even then, you only get 360p resolution.

Edit: Doesn't work anymore. Tried it on several computer but the results are basically the same. Waste of time. I'm dumping it.

I'm surprised. I'm impressed. It works. For now. I just tried it and successfully downloaded a 1080p video. Without any banner or crappy QR code patch or else.

It no longer works? Firefox 130 linux mint 21.2 and 21.3 as of 10/14/24 It use to work? Nolonger get the download button
