Note: Edits change the page as rendered in your browser; they do not directly modify the original website or publish changes to its server.
Developer comments
Why Edit Page asks for permissions:
- Edit Page runs on a tab only when you click its toolbar button. It asks for access to a site only when you save changes for that site, so they can be reapplied on your next visit.
- Access to editpage.dev is used only on the sign-in and account pages, to connect your optional account. Nothing is read from other sites.
- Signing in, sync and anonymous usage counts are all optional. Firefox asks you before any data is sent.

The editor opens in Firefox's sidebar, one per tab. Most features are free and need no account. Pro is optional and sold on editpage.dev, with a free 7-day trial.
