About this extension
Elasticnote browser extension is a private, local-first notes and productivity app that lives in Firefox browser’s side panel. You can take notes, manage to-dos, use checklists, plan work on a Kanban board, and search everything without leaving the tab you’re on. No account is needed to get started.
Task - Todos:
Keep track of what you need to do without opening another app.
Use the Taskboard when you want a more visual way to organize work.
• Create columns and cards
- Drag cards between stages
- Add labels, due dates, colors and card covers
- Keep your board alongside your notes and tasks
Elasticnote also includes a built-in Calendar for keeping track of events and dates without leaving your workspace.
BYO Cloud Storage:
Elasticnote is local-first, so you can start using it without connecting any cloud service.
If you want your workspace backed up or available through storage you already use, Elasticnote Pro lets you connect your own:
You can also connect a Local Folder and keep your Elasticnote workspace in a folder you control.
This means you are not forced to store everything in an Elasticnote-owned cloud. You choose where your data is backed up.
Elasticnote does not require an account for local use. Your notes, tasks and workspace data stay local by default. Elasticnote gives you a practical workspace beside every tab — notes, to-dos, checklists, Kanban, Calendar and fast search, with storage that stays under your control.
Privacy-first: The Elasticnote browser extension is local first. Notes, notebooks, tasks, checklists, Kanban data, tags, attachments, revisions, preferences and local search data are stored on the user's device by default. Elasticnote does not automatically monitor browsing activity or build a browsing-history profile. When a user explicitly chooses a feature such as Capture selection, Capture page, Screenshot or Summarize, the extension may temporarily access the active page and process the content selected by the user, together with information needed to identify the source such as the page URL, title and capture time. By accessing or using Elasticnote, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
