- Rated 4 out of 5by Nick Chin, a month agoI wish the auto-insert function worked on all websites, especially Google Docs and Google Sheets. It works well enough otherwise.

posted a month agoHi! Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, Google Docs uses "canvas" instead of "textbox"/"textarea" or any "contentEditable" elements;
I'll see if I can add the support in some way, and sorry for the missing feature - Rated 4 out of 5by Heini, a month ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Ishan, 2 months agoI think Emoji is just right - no frills, just doing exactly what we want with emojis. And I like it. Lately I find it necessary for work even. Thank you for making it.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Alice, 3 months agoSeems to work pretty well so far, other than one (admittedly pretty minor) nitpick of mine. I would almost prefer, instead of requiring opening the popup from the add-on button or with a keyboard shortcut, to instead have the emoji keyboard accessible from the text field itself. A floating button perhaps, or a right-click context menu option? That would be a little more intuitive than the current system (though the current system does work fine).
(another tiny thing is that the dark theme could stand to be a little brighter, ie. dark grey rather than black, as the current is more "night mode" than "dark mode", though this is the pickiest of nitpicks and is by no means an actual problem haha)Developer response
posted 3 months agoHi Alice, thanks for your review and feedback!
It's already in my to-do list the option to add (or see if it's practical) an alternative way to open the popup (for example the context-menu).

- Rated 4 out of 5by Karma, 6 months agoGood extension, but I think a seperate bar for the emojis to appear once you've selected them would be helpful. In case you wanna delete one of the emojis you selected. Like in the Emoji Keyboard from JoyPixels on the Chrome Store.

posted 6 months agoHi! Thanks for your review and you're suggestion. I'd like to understand better your feedback. May you write an email where you explain in more detailed it?
Because now it's possible enable the "auto-insert feature" (called "Also insert directly the emoji") which permits you to insert automatically the emoji, or the "Multi-copy" feature, which permits you to copy more emojis in once, and if enabled it shows you the list of emojis copied in a popup at the bottom.
Thanks! - Rated 4 out of 5by Anthony, 7 months agoThis plug-in does what it says on the tin and I would've rated it five stars on it's functionality and features alone, however in light of the incessant requests to rate the plug-in, I'll award it four, if just to stop the pesky pop-ups. 🤨😉

posted 7 months agoIn the "Rate the add-on" popup you have three buttons:
"Review", "I'll review later" and "Sorry, I don't want". The last one will close that popup and it won't shown anymore (same of the first one). Only the "I'll review later" will show the popup again after some times.
I'm sorry you found the popup too annoying 😢 - Rated 4 out of 5by exo, 7 months ago

posted a year agoHi, the addon is updated with all new emojis. If you find any emojis are missing, please, report to me via email and I'll add 😊
Thank you - Rated 4 out of 5by Kasaniro, a year agoA really useful addon. It would be better if it had the function to copy various emojis at the same time.

posted a year agoHi, you can enable in Settings. The feature is called "Multi-copy" - Rated 4 out of 5by lucianoinso, a year agoI'd give it 5 stars but it doesn't allow you to use "ctrl+." as a keyboard shortcut, just "modifiers + alphanumerics", can you add this functionality? I bet it's a super small fix, thanks!
Edit: I did a bit of research, seems like you can add this behavior by adding the options for "," or "." with values "Comma", and "Period" (as an example if you add this two characters), those are the words Firefox understand for the "key combinations".
Edit 2: I was hoping that your extension was open source, what a joy to find that it was, I've been reading the source files and I think I've found a simple way for adding this functionality, I might be doing a pull request on these days :), hope it comes useful, thanks for your work!
Edit 3: I opened an issue and did a pull request for this change :)Developer response
posted a year agoHi! I'm sorry about the inconvenient of the "full stop" (or period) and comma. I've merged your contribution, although I've a bit improved the code. In the new release (3.21.1) you can find the new shortcut!
Thank you very much for your helping - Rated 4 out of 5by Siwkann, a year ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by cprn, a year agoWorks okay but isn't keyboard users oriented. The number of possible shortcuts is limited, you can set it e.g. to ctrl+shift and any letter or any digit but you cannot set it to something like ctrl+shift and a period or space or comma. After typing in your search phrase there's no option to copy the first one after pressing enter - you have to press enter twice because it assumes the users will more often use the arrow keys or mouse to select exact emoji from the grid than improve their search phrase. Those are minor issues but still, issues.

posted a year agoIn the new release you can use also Period and Comma 😊
About the Enter: yes, you have to press twice the Enter button because it focus on the first emoji, then you can navigate in the selection with arrows or press again Enter and, in that case, you insert the emoji selected.
Maybe I can add an option in Settings like "From searchbox, the Enter button selected directly the first emoji shown" - Rated 4 out of 5by Device Problem, 2 years ago
