EmoteBeat does not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal information, browsing history, Twitch chat messages, or stream audio.

The extension accesses Twitch pages to identify visible emotes and synchronize visual effects with the stream’s music. Audio is analyzed locally in the browser using the Web Audio API and is never recorded, uploaded, or shared.

EmoteBeat contacts the public Twitch, 7TV, and BetterTTV services only to retrieve emote metadata and image assets required for its functionality.

The extension stores effect preferences and the debug-mode setting locally in Firefox. These settings remain on the user’s device and can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing its data.

EmoteBeat does not use advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking cookies, or remote executable code.
