- Rated 5 out of 5by KorkyTheKat, a year agoUnfortunately much as I love this add-on its not working on Firefox Nightly as of today.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13504018, a year agoThe add-on is not bad, but currently it does not memorize the setting per-website, at least it seems to mess up when switching to another Firefox window, so it works application-wide. In my dark theme its icon is unrecognizable when toggled.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Jake B, 2 years agoI love how simple it is. I use the whitelist mode to enforce browser fonts for only a few sites.
However, I noticed what seems to be a bug: when a tab in one window triggers the extension, all other windows change to browser fonts as well, regardless of the URLs in those windows/tabs.Developer response
posted 2 years agoYes, I am tracking that bug here: https://github.com/jayeshbhoot/enforce-browser-fonts/issues/11
Its a personal painpoint for me too, so I will fix it for sure, but as soon as I get some free time. - Rated 5 out of 5by End User, 2 years agoGreat!
But I would like to have direct access to the list of individual sites inside this extension, to figure out why dev.azure.com (I want site fonts) and *.microsoft.com (I want my fonts) are considered as the same site with common mode, and find a way to fix this.
P.S. Rebooted several times (long story), and this feature seems working properly now. Thank you! Will know that I can post issues to your repository, in case of bugs. I will edit this review in a few days when it becomes obsolete.Developer response
posted 2 years agoThe add-on should retain your choices for these two because they are completely different domains, not even subdomains. Can you file an issue at https://github.com/jayeshbhoot/enforce-browser-fonts/issues? Alternatively, you could also send the details (with screenshots or a gif if possible) at the support email. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13358944, 2 years agoEnforce Browser Fonts works well, allowing a quick toggle between default website fonts and monospaced fonts. Would be useful if the Add-on could be configured to engage depending on a user configured white-list.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Franceska, 4 years agoÇa marche ! Je mets Arial comme police par défaut sur tous les sites mais certains ne s'affichent pas correctement, avec cette extension je peux désactiver sur les sites où ça dysfonctionne, merci !
Could you change the color of the icon when it is activated? My theme is black and we can't see the icon, put it in gray ? - Rated 5 out of 5by icstars, 4 years agodoes what it says on the tin
caveat is that this will increase entropy (ability to fingerprint the browser), so just be aware
looking forward to the implementation of a list of sites where the ext. is disabled/enabled - Rated 4 out of 5by 12bytes, 4 years agopretty good but needs some work, some of which is on the developers todo list
would be nice if it switched faster when changing tabs
i bloody hate when websites override MY default font choices with their goofy fonts and this add-on is a great way to combat that - Rated 4 out of 5by grahamperrin, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12812696, 5 years agoMy implementation may be to blame, but this doesn't appear to work on Firefox 56.0.2. Developer already notes Firefox doesn't support the API yet, so this review is just to provide information.
