posted 3 days agoHello! Are you using Windows and the newest Firefox version?
Normally, the Native app should take up <1% CPU and about 10mb of RAM. I tried to make it as optimized as I could.
And yes - currently it opens the "Native App Not Installed" popups even on non-YouTube websites. I will soon change this to only show on YouTube pages.
For installing and setting it up.. It really should just work to:
1. Install the Native App through Github
2. Install the Extension on Firefox
and then it should work.
If you want further help to fix it, you should do the following:
1. Install the Extension and press on Browser Action Popup (Extension's icon in the toolbar, Enhanced RPC)
2. Then scroll down and press on the small `i` on the bottom right
3. On the left side of the page that opens, press the copy button in the `DEBUG INFORMATION` section
4. Open an Issue on Github and paste in the Settings.
after you do this, I could help you further.
I'm sorry that it isn't working and it requires so many steps to get help. I can't think off a better, easier way to get help currently.

quick update (41 min later): I just published a new update so the modals only show on YouTube related pages and not anymore on unrelated ones. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dizzy, 17 days agoWorks instantly without issue. Will have to test if it keeps working naturally long term.

posted 3 months agoHey, sorry for the late response. Make sure to first download and install the Native App, and then download the Firefox Extension. If it still doesn't work after that you might have to restart Firefox once for it to work, but it usually doesn't need to.
So if you still have the Extension installed,
1. Uninstall the Extension
2. Download & Install the Native App from Github
3. Download the Firefox Extension
4. (maybe restart Firefox)
After that it should work properly! - Rated 5 out of 5by SilentDenizen, 4 months agoGood. but I hate the notification toast that floats in front of the screen. it is very distracting while I watch shorts.
edit: great plugin, love it.Developer response
posted 4 months agoHey! You can disable the toasts in the extension menu on the top right button ^^
Just press on "Popups", where it currently says Enabled to disable them. - Rated 5 out of 5by phe9, 4 months agojust happened to find this while looking for something to work, works well imo
