   All user configuration settings (such as custom highlight colors, toolbar visibility, and urgent hour thresholds) are stored strictly on your local device using the browser's local storage API (chrome.storage.local). No data ever leaves your computer.
3. Limited Permissions:
   The extension only requests permissions strictly necessary to operate locally on erp.iitkgp.ac.in. It does not communicate with any external servers, third-party analytics services, or remote APIs.
