by Firefox user 14550216, 6 years agoThe idea was that this plugin would only use a VPN inside the browser while other computer programs would run normally off my ip address, this is complacently useless just download the actual program that runs on your computer if you need a VPN. I needed to stay connected to a service continuously while accessing the internet with different ips.
Also the fact that this extension requires the application baffles me even more why this browser plugin even exists in the purpose if it has nothing else of offer that the application cant already.
Don't get me wrong I love ExpressVPN & they are the best VPN provider on the market, I would give their services a 5-star any day of the week. Though I am giving this application a 1 star since it's just a fancy control panel for your already downloaded VPN.

posted 6 years agoHi there. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of the ExpressVPN for Firefox. We appreciate your feedback, and we're happy to hear you love the service. In addition to letting you connect to ExpressVPN from within your browser, the Firefox add-on also blocks WebRTC leaks, helps you spoof your geolocation, and uses HTTPS Everywhere to direct you to HTTPS versions of the sites you visit. Hope this clears things up a bit.
